How to order from SHEIN to Jordan

Updated 6 min read

The short answer

Three: SHEIN ships to Jordan directly, you use a forwarding address abroad, or you order through an intermediary in Jordan who buys for you and hands the parcel over. The real difference is not the shipping price — it is who carries the payment, customs and returns problem when something goes wrong.

Does SHEIN ship to Jordan?

Yes. You pick Jordan at checkout and a courier brings it. But "ships" is not the same as "arrives easily": the thing that stops most people here is payment, not shipping. Many Jordanian cards are declined at checkout, and some banks block international online purchases unless you enable them first.

The second is time. Economy shipping takes weeks and express costs noticeably more on a small order. And if something arrives wrong, returning it from Jordan is genuinely painful: you pay return shipping, you wait, and you usually get site credit rather than money back.

The three routes, in practice

1. Direct from SHEIN. Cheapest when your order is large and consolidated and your card works. You carry the customs fee on delivery and handle returns yourself. It suits someone who has ordered before and knows her size.

2. A forwarding address. You get an address in the US or Türkiye, buy to it, and the courier consolidates and brings it. Useful when you are ordering from several sites at once, or when a site does not ship to Jordan at all. It adds a price layer and a waiting layer, and payment and customs are still yours.

3. An intermediary in Jordan. She buys on her own account and card and hands the parcel to you in Amman or your governorate. You pay in dinars, usually cash on handover, so there is no card problem and no currency conversion. She carries the tracking and the courier. In exchange you pay a margin on the original price — and that margin is what you weigh against the hassle of the other two routes.

Customs: what you pay at the door

The rule changed on 1 February 2026: a parcel with a customs value up to 200 JOD now carries 16% sales tax and zero customs duty, with a 5 JOD floor. The 10% duty that used to apply was abolished and the tax replaced it. Parcels above 200 JOD stay on the ordinary tariff, valued from the shipping waybill.

There are exclusions that matter: a parcel addressed to a company rather than a person, a parcel holding multiple identical items in a way that suggests commercial intent, and tobacco — those get the ordinary tariff. Rates change by decision, so for a large order check with Jordan Customs first.

Sizing: what sends half the orders back

SHEIN sizes run small, and they vary piece to piece because the factories do. The measurement table on the listing — chest, waist, length in centimetres — is more honest than the letter. Measure something you already own that fits and compare numbers, not S and M.

The second most honest thing is reviews with customer photos from people roughly your height and build. A listing whose only images are the brand’s own, with no photo reviews, is a bigger gamble — especially when returning it is not realistic.

If you go through an intermediary: what to ask first

Ask three specific things: the final price with everything in it — item, her margin, shipping, customs — roughly when it arrives, and what happens if the piece comes wrong or short. A clear answer to the third is what separates someone who does this properly from someone trying it out.

And keep the agreement in writing in the chat: the link, the size, the colour, the quantity, the final price and the expected date. Not out of suspicion — because a written agreement makes the handover easy for both of you.

Step by step

  1. Collect the links

Open SHEIN and save the links to the pieces you want, with size and colour. A link saves half the back and forth later.

  2. Post your request

Post it on Wasitati: what you want, from where, your budget and where you will collect it. Posting is free and needs no account until you press publish.

  3. Compare the offers

Intermediaries send offers with a final price and an expected date. Compare the full price, not the margin alone, and read her reviews.

  4. Agree in detail

In the chat, pin down the link, size, colour, final price and the rough handover date.

  5. Collect, then review

Hand over somewhere public and comfortable for both. Then review her — your review is what the next buyer leans on.

Common questions

Does SHEIN ship to Jordan?

Yes — Jordan is in the country list and a courier delivers. The common problem is not shipping but payment: many Jordanian cards are declined, and some banks need international online purchases enabled first.

What are the customs fees on a SHEIN order?

Since February 2026: 16% sales tax on a parcel valued up to 200 JOD, zero customs duty, with a 5 JOD floor — so a 50 JOD order pays 8 JOD. Above 200 JOD the ordinary tariff applies.

How long does an order take to reach Jordan?

Economy takes weeks; express is much faster and dearer. Through an intermediary it depends on her cycle — some order weekly, some monthly — so ask for the expected date before you agree.

Can I return a SHEIN item from Jordan?

Technically yes, practically it is painful: you pay return shipping, you wait, and it usually comes back as site credit rather than cash. Which is why getting the size right the first time matters more than anything else.

Is an intermediary dearer than shipping direct?

On the bare price usually yes, because there is a margin. But compare the whole: shipping, customs, size risk, the return hassle and the card problem. On a small or first order the gap narrows a lot.
