Become a personal shopper in Jordan
If you already order from abroad or travel, you are halfway there. On Wasitati, buyers in Jordan send you requests, you quote your price, and you hand the order over in person. Joining is free, and the platform takes nothing from your fee.
Start nowTwo minutes. A phone number or an email is all you need.
Why now
- Since February 2026 parcels carry 16% sales tax instead of the old 10% duty — ordering from abroad got dearer and more complicated for an ordinary buyer, and now wants someone who knows the process.
- Many Jordanian cards are declined on foreign sites and some banks need international purchases enabled first. A buyer whose card does not work has no option but an intermediary.
- Returning something to a foreign site from Jordan is close to impossible in practice. Buyers pay a margin for someone to carry that risk.
How it works
Sign up and pick your sites
Choose the sites you actually buy from — SHEIN, Temu, AliExpress, iHerb or others — and your governorate. That is what routes the right requests to you.
Set your fee
A percentage, a fixed amount, or both. Wasitas who state a fee get more orders, because the buyer does not have to ask before she starts.
Answer requests
You see what buyers near you are asking for, and send an offer with a final price and an expected date. She compares and chooses.
Buy, then hand it over
You buy on your own account and hand it over somewhere public. Payment is in dinars, between the two of you — the platform holds no money.
Collect reviews
Every clean handover builds your name. Reviews and verification are what let a new buyer trust you without knowing you.
What you need
- A phone number or an email to sign up.
- A payment method that works on foreign sites — a card, or an account you already use.
- Somewhere in Jordan you can hand things over, even if it is only your governorate.
- Time to reply. Response speed is the single biggest differentiator between offers.
Common questions
What does the platform take?
Nothing. Wasitati introduces you and keeps the agreement organised; the buying, the payment and the handover are between you and her. No commission, no subscription, no listing fee.
Do I need a business licence?
The platform does not ask for one to sign up. If this becomes a regular business, take advice on your own tax and legal position — that is your decision to make.
How do I set my fee?
You decide: a percentage of the cart, a flat amount per order, or both. You can leave it "on request", but those who state a number get more orders.
What if a handover goes wrong?
Your agreement is in the chat — the link, the size, the price, the date. Having it written protects both of you, and reviews keep both of you careful.
Do I have to be in Amman?
No. Requests come from every governorate and buyers filter by theirs. A wasiṭa in Irbid or Zarqa gets the requests near her.
Can I be a buyer too?
Yes. One account carries both roles and you switch between them in your account settings.
